SILICONE RUBBERS

Silicone rubber

is a long-lasting and incredibly resilient elastomer made from silicone and other molecules, including carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen. It is a durable and highly elastic material, characterized by a chain of alternating silicon and oxygen atoms.

SILICONE RUBBERS HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALITIES:

  1. Resistance -55 °C+250 °C for standard grades and -110 °C +300 °C for special grades
  2. Perfect translucency and low toxicity of combustion products.
  3. Resistance to ozone and good weatherability
  4. Excellent electrical insulation properties

Silicone rubber is extensively utilized in various sectors, including aerospace, automotive, construction, medical, electrical and electronics (E&E), and food processing, due to its distinctive properties. Overall, silicone rubber is used in a wide range of products, such as coatings, lubricants, potting compounds, elastomers, adhesives and sealants, and encapsulating compounds.
