EPDM,

also known as ethylene propylene diene terpolymer, is a strong substance designed to survive the worst conditions.
It is resistant to harsh chemicals and high heat. Unsaturated rubbers like natural rubber, SR, or polychloroprene are substantially less resistant to beat, light, and ozone than saturated rubbers like EPDA.

When properly prepared,

EPDM can withstand temperatures of up to 150°C and can be used outdoors for extended periods without degradation.
