EPDM,

also known as ethylene propylene diene terpolymer, is a strong substance designed to withstand the harshest conditions. It is resistant to harsh chemicals and high heat. Unsaturated rubbers like natural rubber, SR, or polychloroprene are substantially less resistant to heat, light, and ozone than saturated rubbers like EPDM.
