Release Agents

also known as mould release agents, release coatings, or mould release coatings, are chemicals used to prevent other substances from adhering to surfaces. RELEASE AGENTS

Release agents

act as a barrier between a moulding surface and the substrate, making it easier to separate the cured part from the mould. Without this barrier, the substrate would bond to the surface of the mould, making clean-up challenging and significantly reducing manufacturing efficiency. However, variables such as inconsistent application or the wrong choice of release agent can significantly impact the quality and consistency of the final output.

Bang & Bonsomer offers a range of release agent varieties, including metal-infused soaps, silicones, fatty esters, and waxes.
